As we all agree that you have CIO/CTO potential, you will prep yourself for that role. This entails managing our current solutions & systems, leading your team with vision and driving our agenda for innovation. The Head of IT will architect stellar solutions with her/his knowledge of IT innovations, infrastructure and applications.
In this challenging role you’ll also head up a lively team of five IT enthusiasts. You naturally inspire and mentor them while instilling a culture of ownership and inclusion. Your team continuously strives to make the lives of our global (and partially remote) workforce as comfortable as possible. You enable client and employees with intuitive, scalable, and instantly available technology.
In order to drive concrete innovations and manage projects, you aim to find the most plug & play and future-proof solutions. But you also intuitively understand when a custom solution is more feasible.
We are 5CA. For the past 20 years, we’ve used our expertise to help our clients build their CX & support strategy. We focus on three industries: video games, consumer electronics, and eCommerce, where we provide omnichannel support in a wide variety of languages and always using the latest technological innovations.
We’re headquartered in Utrecht, The Netherlands, with offices in Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, and Hong Kong. For our contact services, we use a mix of onsite and remote support specialists. A highly flexible and dynamic model, by which we help our clients deal with challenging situations.
Some might say you’re a dreamer. The kind of dreamer who’s constantly thinking of ways to improve things and how make them more efficient. You see things that others don’t – and collect volumes of information about market trends. As the driving force behind our systems and our innovations you are above all somebody who knows how to get things done.
You tailor your communication style throughout the organization in a way that appeals to a variety of personalities and audiences – our CEO, clients, leadership as well as employees. You inspire, lead, and challenge, while never shying away from getting your hands dirty in execution.
In order to be successful in this role you possess:
- A successful track record of driving innovation and project management;
- Experience in leading and mentoring a department;
- A level of geekiness: you are interested in games, tech and the latest gadgets;
- Near-native English skills.
- At least a basic understanding of scripting languages;
- Nice to have’s: helpdesk management, back-office automation, contact center experience. Line of Business applications such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Dynamics 365 etc.
A salary of 65 – 90K gross, depending on your background and exposure
